February in Idaho

On my walk today, I spied a little guy that shouldn't wake up until about April. This winter has been one wacky mix up for Mother Nature.

February Walk

It was nice enough yesterday to go for a walk by the river. Rachael loves the ducks.

Window

I finally completed Rachael's window treatment. No more bulky blinds. I think it's pretty cute.

Rachaelism

At dinner tonight we are fortunate to hear a new Rachaelism. "We have to get the panties out of my bum"

Rachael & Anna Fun

Rachael was entertaining Anna tonight and this was the result. I thought that this was very good and wanted to share.

First Crawl

We are in trouble now! Anna is now starting to Crawl. Here is her first crawl.

New Tradition

This year Rachael and I planted an amaryllis bulb just before Thanksgiving. We were amazed at how fast and how big it grew. Every day Rachael would point out it's progress to me. It has fully bloomed and looks amazing. I think we've found a new Christmas tradition.

Why?

Rachael did it. I think she's too young for it, or maybe I'm just not ready. It was so out of the blue. She took me completely by surprise. I was frozen for a second or two. Thoughts of "What am I going to do? What am I going to say?" ran through my mind.
But, she did it. She looked me in the eye and said, "Why?"
